Yes, and no … Phoenix and the surrounding desert are famous for spectacular sunsets. Usually I am in the city at the time and not able to get a good shot. I was fortunate to be out in the car (with the camera) and close enough the the mountain park to stop for a half hour or so.

Oh thank you very much. We have some spectacular sunsets in Phoenix and tonight I drove out of the way to get into the city mountain to have more than colorful sky in my viewfinder.

There are a lot of things I do not like about living in Arizona, but every once in a while, we get these fabulous sunsets that last about 5 minutes or so…those are the good moments.
