He was not hurt at all. Got up, did it again, and just couldn’t clear the grassy knoll. I followed him and his friends for a while, chatting with these interesting college boys.
Oh Mona. You are in my thoughts and prayers. You are strong, vibrant, talented; YOU will land on your feet. I have been thinking of you. Now I know why. Feel free to delete these posts. Come and visit when you can, keep me posted! Love and hugs, ~ Lily
Last week one of these skateboard riders got killed while competing in a down road competition. It is in an eyes wink and they fall off. Nice two shots for action.
It can be dangerous, yes. But these kids were just playing around in the park. His buddy was practicing his photography with him as the subject & I asked if they minded if I photographed them too. Nice kids.
Lovely photos Mona.. Mona you will definitely land on your feet! You are in my thoughts and prayers but I have a good feeling that you are a strong person and ya know what??
The sun’ll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There’ll be sun!
Just thinkin’ about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
‘Til there’s none!
When I’m stuck a day
That’s gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh
The sun’ll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
‘Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You’re always
A day
A way! Lame attempt and hopefully making you smile a little!!!
Oh my goodness! HAHA! It feels like I have many of those moments lol, but I’m sure everyone does Great shots! When you take snap shots like this one, what do you set your shutter speed and f-stop to? Just curious, these shots are hard for me lol
The 1st is 1/320 sec at f/9.0 ISO 320. The 2nd shot is 1/125 sec at f/9.0, which tells me that I was shooting with aperture priority (which I usually do … don’t know exactly why, I just seem to get better exposure.
Great action shot! I hope he wasn’t hurt!

Thank goodness he wasn’t hurt, and you have to love him for getting right back up and trying again!
Yes, amazing how things can look so cool, free and easy at one moment, and then…!
Hope you are well, Mona! ~ Lily
You are quite observant… YES! this is a metaphor for my life right now.

Precarious, out on a limb, exhilarating, joyous, concentrated, living in the moment, painful, frightening – yea, sounds a lot like life to me too:)
It is a metaphor for my life right now. You have described it quite accurately.
Right now, Mona? I can’t remember when mine was ever much different …:)
Amazing photographs,wasn’t he hurt?
Great shots Mona… the action is very well captured in those two pics…
Thank You, Joanna
Love and light to you, Mona.
I appreciate that, Gina

Thank you for asking … makes me feel good
Thank you so much for your feedback! Yeah, I use aperture too lol! I took some action shots today, so I’m just trying to get better
That’s life alright! And when he picked himself up and walked off…that was life as well! Stay strong Mona!
Thank you … and I will. Yes, the skater picked himself and went at it again.
I’m thinking that if his pants had been a little higher, he might have made it! lol
I’m thinking the same thing.
Super shot! Thanks for hitting the “like” button today.
