I attended a beautiful funeral Mass today for a great woman who was finally released from the crippling pain of rheumatoid arthritis. Later, I caught this moment between her husband and son.
Beautiful image and it tells a story. Funny thing is when I logged on to wordpress this morning I was thinking I have not seen any post from you recently. And then bam! I swear it is the craziest thing. I need to figure out how to manifest this power I have :-). I mean literally I had those thoughts just a few minutes ago. I was considering email you to see if all is well out west.
I have been away from my beloved blogging community for a pretty good reason: I’ve been busy building my business (how’s that for alliteration?). Most of the pictures I’ve taken are for client consumption only and not for blog posting, although I might slip in a few here and there. When I retired from teaching to devote my time and energies to “taking pictures,” I had no idea how mentally and physically grueling it would be. I wouldn’t change a moment of it … except I wish I had not been so nervous and anxious when I shot the wedding because I missed shots and missed the handbag on the floor because I was anxious.
Thank you for thinking about me. Again, I’d love to spend a few weeks with the two of you.
I need to find someone like you here in my part of the world.
may she rest in peace
Thank you.
That says it all, Mona. Very profound image.
Thank you. I like this image because of the look of love in the son’s eyes. Thank you again.
This is very special!
Thank you. I think so too.
❤

You captured one of the meanings of the word….one that is rarely caught with a camera….beautiful…
Thank you Jim.
